AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced today that
AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit® Version 5.1.14 supports Microsoft SharePoint 2013.
EXCHANGEit is a data transfer tool for moving data and document images from AnyDoc’s data capture solution, OCR for AnyDoc®, AnyDoc’s
document classification solution, Infiniworx®, or various other sources, into a myriad of back-end systems and downstream applications such as
ECM, ERP and workflow systems. With simple drag-and-drop functionality, EXCHANGEit bridges incompatible formats and seamlessly delivers
captured and validated data as well as images (TIFF, PDF, etc.) into SharePoint or SharePoint-based solutions.
“With SharePoint being an integral component of many corporate business processes, EXCHANGEit provides an ideal way to connect accurate
data and indices, along with the associated image files, to the appropriate SharePoint libraries,” said Samuel Schrage, President of AnyDoc
Software.
OCR for AnyDoc captures data from nearly any document, including both structured and complex unstructured documents—such as invoices,
remittances, checks, health care claims, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms. Data is validated against a company’s business rules to ensure
accuracy, while data and images are automatically indexed. This allows SharePoint to maximize the effectiveness of its search
methodologies—ensuring quick access to the documents and data a company needs.
EXCHANGEit also transfers data and images from Infiniworx and AnyDoc®CAPTUREit® for seamless integration into downstream destinations
including SharePoint. Infiniworx is a platform for designing custom document capture workflows—from classification to data extraction, validation,
and processing within an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface. CAPTUREit provides local or remote (distributed) document capture and quality
assurance, which eliminates the cost of transporting documents to a central location for data collection and processing. Both software platforms
can work independently, or as part of an integrated AnyDoc solution that includes OCR for AnyDoc.
Other EXCHANGEit destinations and formats include EDI (810, 834, 835, and 837); Digitech’s ImageSilo and PaperVision; EMC
ApplicationXtender; Hyland OnBase; IBM Content Manager; FileBound On-Demand; FileBound On-Site; OpenText; Oracle; SAP; and many other
industry-standard destinations.

handled with this single platform while verified EDI 837 output supports the latest health care 5010 standard.
For providers, InStream will offer AnyDoc®EOB™ to automatically capture and process Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms received from insurers
along with payment. AnyDocEOB captures data including line item details, validates the data, and balances procedural charges and claim totals
to the EOB total to ensure accuracy. Accurate data and indexed images are delivered to patient accounting, financial management and other
business systems. The solution also supports the health care 5010 standard with EDI 835 output.

“and we are excited to begin offering AnyDoc solutions to satisfy their document processing needs. Overall, this partnership opens the door for us

EXCHANGEit has demonstrated capabilities to post invoices automatically to SAP ERP.
With simple drag-and-drop functionality, AnyDoc EXCHANGEit is an efficient tool for moving data and documents from AnyDoc’s data capture
solution, OCR for AnyDoc®, to SAP applications. AnyDoc EXCHANGEit’s certified integration with SAP solutions helps to provide a bridge for
invoice documents and invoice data. The software can be set up to allow the quick transfer of data on–the-fly or the scheduling of transfers to
occur at an optimal time according to a customer’s business practices and organizational resources.
AnyDoc’s solutions provide the most accurate and efficient document classification and data extraction software available today, including
applications for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments. Incoming invoices, remittances, and checks can simply be scanned

including line item details, can be automatically captured, validated according to a company’s business rules, and output to SAP solutions.
“SAP certified integration allows us to bring the best quality data capture into a customer’s business while interfacing with their existing SAP
solutions,” said Samuel Schrage, President of AnyDoc Software. “Continuing to offer clients this direct connection with SAP solutions, as well as
other back-end systems, is one more way we strive to quickly delivery accurate invoice data into an existing solution, making the investment in
data capture an easy, efficient, and impactful addition to existing business processes.”
AnyDoc Software Integrates with DocuSphere Content Manager
Integration Also Supports DocuSphere All-in-One for JD Edwards AP
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced integration of the AnyDoc
Software suite with DocuSphere® Content Manager, developed by Image Integration Systems, Inc. (IIS).
The DocuSphere Content Manager is a powerful, complete, and integrated document management solution and the core component in the
DocuSphere family of integrated process improvement products. For additional focus in the Accounts Payable (AP) marketplace, IIS developed
DocuSphere All-in-One for JD Edwards AP as a comprehensive solution designed for accounts payable processing with JD Edwards to meet the
growing demand for AP automation.
To complement this solution, IIS leverages the advanced data capture of AnyDoc®INVOICE™ as the intelligent “on ramp” to integrated AP
automation. AnyDocINVOICE automatically extracts and validates pertinent data from vendor invoices including invoice numbers, purchase order
numbers, line item details, totals, and more—without the use of templates—and releases the accurate, verified data to DocuSphere to initiate the
process workflow. In combination with DocuSphere’s subsequent automated line item matching and automated vouchering, AP invoice
processing can be nearly “hands free.”
“AnyDoc is excited to be the front-end integrated component of the DocuSphere All-in-One for JD Edwards AP solution,” said Ken Kriz, Manager
of Strategic Alliances for AnyDoc Software. “JD Edwards’ customers now have a seamless solution which quickly captures data from paper
invoices, processes terms correctly, reduces the cost to process invoices and exceptions, updates JD Edwards automatically, and gives users
much greater control and insight over their cash.”
AnyDocINVOICE works in tandem with AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™ a data transfer tool for bridging incompatible formats, to seamlessly deliver
captured and validated invoice data into DocuSphere. The complete solution provides JD Edwards users with quicker access to accurate data,
lower costs, and managed exception processing through a system that complements their existing business rules.
Panasonic KV-S5055C Scanner Certified for Use with AnyDoc Software
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced today that it has certified the
Panasonic KV-S5055C scanner for use with AnyDoc Software’s solutions.
The certified integration ensures seamless performance between the Panasonic KV-S5055C TWAIN-driven scanner and AnyDoc’s automated
data and document capture software, OCR for AnyDoc® or AnyDoc®CAPTUREit™ for remote and local document capture, including output to the
capture workflow and classification platform Infiniworx®.
The combined solution starts with this high-volume cost-effective scanner as early as the mail room, vastly speeding business processes. This
scanner is designed for imaging a wide range of document sizes, in particular very long documents. AnyDoc then utilizes these clear images to
quickly classify the documents and accurately capture critical data, further improving the efficiency of business applications across a wide range
of verticals such as healthcare, insurance, government and financial services as well as a variety of applications within any given entity (invoices,
remittances, checks, claims, applications, surveys, etc.). With AnyDoc’s versatility to automatically process and capture data from nearly any
document type and the KV-S5055C’s ability to scan virtually any document, the combination provides a solution for most applications within an
organization.
The KV-S5055C sets the business scanner stage with a high-volume of 90 pages per minute (ppm) for single sided and 180 images per minute for
2-sided documents, a 200 page automatic document feeder (ADF), ultrasonic and roller prevention technology for double-feed prevention, stapled
document detection and a Pre-Imprinter (option)—a string of identifying characters sprayed onto the paper document prior to scanning the image.
New features to the KV-S5055C include two paper-dust-reduction modules, an ion-rich breeze that neutralizes the electrical charge on documents
and reduces dust throughout the paper path, and a scanning-glass cleaning brush which automatically wipes away dust buildup. These features
help ensure continued production use and high image quality, imperative for high accuracy during document classification and processing.
The integration demonstrates AnyDoc’s continued support of Panasonic’s innovative line of business scanners and provides full support for all
available features in the industry standard TWAIN interface.
Panasonic KV-S5055C certified scanner integration is available in OCR for AnyDoc 5.0.15.
AnyDoc EXCHANGEit™ Supports 5010 EDI Transactions for Health Care
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, today announced support for 5010 EDI
transactions via AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™ version 5.1.9 to support the latest health care standards. AnyDoc now supports both the 4010 and 5010
standards.
EXCHANGEit, a data transfer tool for moving data files and documents into back-end applications, is ideal for use with the new standards for
electronic health care transactions, including claims (EDI 837) and remittances (EDI 835) that are at the core of daily operations for many entities.
Through a simple drag-and-drop interface, EXCHANGEit bridges incompatible formats, allowing accurate data to enter back-end systems quickly
and easily for transaction uniformity and streamlined reimbursement. And moving from the 4010 standard to the 5010 standard is simple.
Many health care institutions including providers, payers, service bureaus, third-party billers, and software vendors must be compliant for the
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 version 5010 transactions by January 1,
2012. These changes aim to improve health care quality and lower costs, and to create an inclusive electronic data exchange environment for
the expanding ICD-10-CM (Clinical Modification) and PCS (Procedural Coding System) code sets.
EXCHANGEit allows for a seamless transition into this more efficient health care transaction process by continuing to support both the 4010 and
5010 standards during the transitional 2011 calendar year for EDI 837 and 835 transaction sets.
AnyDoc Software Introduces Check Processing Solution with Automated Remote Depositing
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced today the release of their
new check processing solution, AnyDoc®DEPOSIT™. Combining AnyDoc’s award-winning document and data capture technologies with
classification and digital communication with banks, AnyDocDEPOSIT is a unique product that manages the Check 21 process (including
inquiring and reviewing past check and deposit transactions), providing businesses with the tools to make customized, convenient digital deposits
from their central and/or remote offices. AnyDocDEPOSIT works in tandem with Infiniworx® to automatically process incoming checks and money
orders from scan to Check 21 deposit, for both individual checks and those attached to remittances without the need to manually burst checks.
Incoming checks are scanned with standard office scanners and the images are passed to Infiniworx, AnyDoc’s revolutionary platform for capture
workflow. Infiniworx extracts data from checks, including routing and account numbers (MICR data), check number, and check amount using
CAR/LAR recognition (Courtesy Amount/Legal Amount Recognition). The MICR data can be compared against a database to verify routing and
account numbers, and retrieve the customer name if available.
Next, an image of the back of the check can be created (allowing single-sided scanning), and the check can be virtually endorsed for immediate
or scheduled deposits. The check data and images are then exported to AnyDocDEPOSIT for further processing. Infiniworx can also accept data
from more advanced scanners (e.g. OPEX, IBML) including the MICR data when the scanner has the MICR reader option. This allows the MICR
data to be read twice and verified—first by the scanner and again by Infiniworx for true exception case processing.
AnyDocDEPOSIT electronically creates and manages bank deposits, eliminating the need to physically deposit checks. A cash letter is created in
x9.37 format, which includes the data about the deposit (total amount, number of checks, etc.), the digital information from the checks (account
numbers, amounts, etc.), and the check images. The x9.37 format is approved by the United States Federal Reserve Bank for combining both
check images and check information into one file for electronic deposit. The solution encrypts the data and securely transmits the deposit
information to the bank.
“We developed our check processing solution by expanding the functionality of our existing technologies to meet the growing demand for
electronic check processing and deposits,” said Samuel Schrage, President of AnyDoc Software. “Eliminating the need to physically deposit
checks will provide our customers with huge time savings as well as instant access to cash flow. Our primary mission was to provide the end user
with an easy-to-use tool that minimizes manual effort yet provides great flexibility and manageability.”
Before making the deposit, AnyDocDEPOSIT also verifies there are no duplicate checks (or check images) in the cash letter. Deposits can be
generated manually or created automatically based on user parameters such as the number of checks per deposit or at predetermined times
during the day. The solution can also be set up to make deposits to more than one account at one or more banks automatically.
AnyDocDEPOSIT also features an online repository, allowing clients to retrieve deposit information status and view check images from a
convenient browser-based interface.
AnyDoc Software and Digitech Systems Offer Enhanced Product Integration
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, today announced the integration of
AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™ with Digitech Systems’ ImageSilo® and PaperVision® Enterprise. The new integration offers added value for clients in
multiple industries, with particular benefit in the growing accounts payable (AP) automation market, by improving data capture speed and
accuracy and by streamlining access to important business information for improved decision-making.
EXCHANGEit is an information transport tool for secure, automated data and image transfer from AnyDoc’s automated data and document
capture software, OCR for AnyDoc® or capture workflow platform Infiniworx®, into back-end applications. With this integration, EXCHANGEit
allows OCR for AnyDoc and Infiniworx users to automatically move captured document images and validated data into Digitech Systems’
enterprise content management (ECM) software, PaperVision Enterprise, or the cloud ECM service, ImageSilo. Now, PaperVision Enterprise and
ImageSilo users have the best solution for document capture, classification and data extraction, providing better and more accurate access to the
information they need day in and day out. Infiniworx is quickly becoming the optimum choice for document classification.
As a provider of ECM solutions, Digitech Systems is an expert in capturing, securing, and managing large amounts of data either on premise for
PaperVision Enterprise customers or online for users of ImageSilo. Available for both PaperVision Enterprise and ImageSilo customers, the
integration with AnyDoc makes it easier to capture data contained on paper or in electronic image files.
“To be competitive, businesses today are cutting costs by streamlining basic functions like Accounts Payable, yet accurate control of accounting
information is still critical. The integration between AnyDoc EXCHANGEit and PaperVision Enterprise makes it easy for organizations to convert
information stored on paper to an electronic format that can be securely sorted, managed, and retained,” said Sean Morris, Director of Sales at
Digitech Systems. “Many organizations are extending their benefit by choosing ImageSilo, which offers a secure, cost-effective means for
controlling corporate information in a cloud environment.”
Delivery to the ECM systems occurs in real time or at pre-scheduled intervals based on business needs and resource constraints. The result is a
seamless end-to-end managed solution that takes document images and data from capture and processing in OCR for AnyDoc or Infiniworx
directly into ImageSilo or PaperVision Enterprise for storage and retrieval.
Acting as a bridge between data formats, EXCHANGEit incorporates a simple drag-and-drop data mapping interface that eliminates the need for
costly programming or error-prone manual data transfer. The versatility of EXCHANGEit makes it the ideal tool for moving captured data and
document images to nearly any accounting, ERP, or other back-end system. Security features include active directory group level permissions
and data encryption with port level communication—making implementation easy.
“We have seen a high adoption rate of technology in the accounting marketplace, both in AP and AR, due to the realistic ROI, increased cash
flow management and the reduction in days sales outstanding (DSO) that a combined solution like this offers,” said Ken Kriz, Manager of Strategic
Alliances for AnyDoc Software. “And, connecting to both the on-premise and SaaS (software as a service) offerings allows clients to design an
automated solution to suit their business, processing and investment needs."
AnyDoc Increases Channel Sales Focus with the Addition of Loran Keller as Central
Business Development Manager
AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced the addition of Loran Keller
to their channel sales team as the new Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Central U.S. region.
Keller brings 15 years of experience in data capture solutions and channel sales to AnyDoc, including a familiarity with partners and vendors in the
Enterprise Content Management (ECM) space within his assigned territory. His background highlights include reselling imaging systems, data
capture and document imaging solutions as well as developing and managing a reseller channel.
Keller’s expertise lies in selling advanced solutions for unstructured documents, which are business documents with data in varying locations from
one version to the next, such as invoices and remittances. He will leverage his skills to assist the channel, working directly with AnyDoc value-
added resellers, mainly in the Central and Mountain Time zones.
“We take pride in our channel as our main avenue for growth,” said David Talarico, Vice President of Channel Sales at AnyDoc Software.
“Bringing Loran to the team is a great investment for our channel in the Central region. He brings years of experience in this area, both geographic
and skill-wise, and will be the expert resource and support our channel needs to focus on procuring the more complex deals our resellers have
avoided in the past, particularly with invoice processing,” he continued.
“Joining the AnyDoc Software channel sales team gives me the opportunity to continue to trail blaze in areas of sophisticated document
automation, including invoice processing, document classification, and sales order processing,” Keller said.
AnyDoc Software Adds Automated Email Processing to Infiniworx
Sophisticated data capture can now be applied to documents and attachments in incoming email for
unattended processing.
AnyDoc Software, Inc., a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions,
announces the addition of email processing to its Infiniworx® capture workflow platform.
In addition to advanced document classification and capture workflow, Infiniworx can monitor selected e-mail
inboxes and automatically process incoming emailed documents and attachments. Infiniworx can recognize
and open email attachments in most standard business formats, including PDF, TIFF, Word and Excel
documents, and even unzip multiple compressed files for processing. The email body and attachments
can be classified and passed to OCR for AnyDoc® for data capture and further processing downstream.
And, any document can be converted to TIFF, PDF, or text allowing for output standardization while still
maintaining all native formats.
The addition of email processing to Infiniworx follows the needs of businesses worldwide converting to
electronic documents and adapting Earth-friendly “Green” initiatives, thus increasing the number of transactions
online and via email, often with email attachments. It provides an additional automated method for businesses
to process a common input stream of fax, scan, import, and FTP to capture their incoming documents. It also
eliminates the all-too-common and impractical practice of printing emailed documents only to scan them for
entry into ECM, ERP or other backend systems.
Infiniworx utilizes an easy-to-understand graphical drag-and-drop interface allowing users to quickly replicate
their existing business process workflow. “The simplicity of the setup of Infiniworx is another AnyDoc
innovation,” said Samuel Schrage, President of AnyDoc Software. “Users can choose from multiple options
to classify, prioritize, route and process their documents.” Infiniworx can be set up to classify documents by
any of their attributes, including page size, logo, layout, format, text/key words, data, content, or any
combination of these methods. This provides one of the most robust engines for an automated and accurate
classification solution. Documents can be processed automatically or routed to operators for review if they
meet identified criteria (e.g., invoices over $1,000).
AnyDoc Software Partners with Appian to Deliver Process-Enabled
Document and Data Solutions
Business Process Management Platform Automates Structured and Unstructured Document Processing from

AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions,

Appian BPM platform. Through the partnership, AnyDoc will leverage Appian’s 100 percent web
architecture and powerful process, task, and data orchestration to help customers automate and manage
the end-to-end workflow for both structured and unstructured documents and data.
“Utilizing Appian’s powerful yet easy-to-use BPM platform within our already robust product line will help our
customers achieve optimal efficiency in daily tasks, and provide management teams with the tools to view
the health of their organization at the department or corporate level,” said Samuel Schrage, President of
AnyDoc Software. “Capturing your business processes and decision data from the time it enters your
organization, monitoring its progression, and having it available immediately at a lower cost provides companies
with great advantages. Real-time status of overall business processes with a highlight on exceptions,
approvals, and related activities keeps executive management responsive to the pulse of the company.”
The Appian BPM Suite allows companies to be more efficient, adaptable, and effective in accomplishing
business tasks through constant management and real-time monitoring. People, applications, required tasks,
compliance guidelines, approvals, and more are all wrapped into a managed process that can be monitored
for continuous effectiveness with real-time data, robust analytics, and reporting.
AnyDoc Software’s solutions provide companies with quick, cost-effective, and accurate tools to assimilate
business data into the organization. As a data capture leader, AnyDoc utilizes their full range of products,
including AnyDoc®CAPTUREit™, Infiniworx®, and the flagship OCR for AnyDoc®, to classify documents
and extract data from scanned paper or imported images and data files—including e-mails and attachments.
“The details are in the data,” said Schrage, “and AnyDoc is one of the best at getting to the data.” Together
with Appian, AnyDoc will deliver world-class end-to-end solutions like AnyDoc®INVOICE™ BPM Suite and
vertical solutions for Insurance, Healthcare, Banking and Finance and other markets.
With Appian-enabled AnyDoc solutions, incoming documents including paper, scanned images, faxes, and
e-mails are automatically categorized and routed to the appropriate business unit without any presorting
required. Data is captured and validated from nearly any business document, with minimal manual data entry
required. The accurate data and the document images are then automatically routed to the appropriate
workflow, back office information systems, and/or document management repository. For example, document
exceptions can be routed according to a company’s existing business practices, and e-mail automatically
triggered when follow-up or escalation is required. Auditing productivity or outstanding tasks, determining
processing bottlenecks, and identifying project status is easy with a dashboard of real-time data, offering
customized views depending on a user’s status or responsibilities. The result is cost savings combined with
increases in productivity and data accuracy as companies efficiently and accurately distribute
work-in-progress while exceptions are fast-tracked with up-to-the-minute data available at a glance.
“We are proud to partner with a well respected industry leader like AnyDoc. The combination of process and
automated data capture and classification will result in significant value to the customers of these solutions,”
said Marc Wilson, Vice President of Global Partnerships at Appian. “Forward-looking software vendors like
AnyDoc understand the tremendous internal and customer value that can be derived from leveraging a BPM
platform to enhance existing offerings and speed development of new products and services. OEM
relationships such as this one are central to our growth strategy, and will bring Appian’s state-of-the-art BPM
technology to a wide range of new user communities.”

SNP AG Successfully Centralizes SAP AP Processing with Shared
Services Solution from AnyDoc and Sivis
SNP AG, an SAP integration expert, utilizes the combined expertise of two leading providers to centralize all
financial accounts for multiple branches into one Shared Services Center.
AnyDoc Software, an industry-leading developer of automated document processing, data capture, and
classification solutions, announced today along with partner company Sivis, the successful delivery of a
custom financial accounting solution for SAP specialist Schneider-Neureither & Partner AG (SNP). The project
successfully centralized the financial accounts of SNP’s five branches into one Shared Services Center.
With the integration of AnyDoc®INVOICE™ into the SAP workflow and the parallel setup of a central
financial accounting system across multiple countries, incoming invoices and expense report claims can
now be bundled into one Shared Services Center. This significantly increases efficiency and reduces
processing and labor costs at SNP. The process has also become highly transparent, and the implementation
was completed within a short time frame of only 15 man-days.
An expert in automated classification and processing of documents of all kinds, AnyDoc Software offers
solutions designed especially to alleviate the burden of manual invoice and remittance processing,
AnyDocINVOICE and AnyDoc®REMIT™ respectively. These solutions complement their integrated partner
solution, SAM Invoice from Sivis—an SAP interface which connects AnyDocINVOICE to SAP.
Now, the incoming invoices are scanned at the individual office locations across Germany, Switzerland,
and Austria, with the images sent to a centralized Shared Services Center for verification and processing.
AnyDocINVOICE retrieves all relevant master data from the SAP system and supplies SAM Invoice, the
downstream SAP workflow application, with the extracted and validated invoice data. Multiple users can
access AnyDocINVOICE simultaneously, and additional users can be easily added with just a few clicks.
“SNP’s staff likes the system because it is easy and intuitive to use,” said Hans-Jörg Zeller, Managing Director
of Sivis Document Services GmbH. “It also operates flawlessly—even the system update for AnyDocINVOICE
was carried out without any problems.”
In addition, since SNP consultants operate all over the world, many bookings and reservations must be made
on their behalf. The previous process for handling their expense reports was lengthy and caused delays.
Utilizing the same shared service solution, the expense report claims are now processed with ease, further
reducing processing and labor costs.
SNP AG was founded in Heidelberg in 1994 and currently employs about 140 staff in five locations in
Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For 15 years, the company has been assisting international and national
companies customize their SAP systems for transformation projects. SNP T-Bone, short for SNP Transformation
Backbone, is the first standard software in the world to offer complete support for SAP transformations.

said Mark Smith, Director of Product Planning at OPEX. “The combined solution offers an excellent return on
investment by greatly reducing or eliminating hidden costs in document capture and payment processing.”
The DS1225 is a mid-volume production scanner which eliminates the need for a separate document
preparation process. Documents can simply be dropped on the conveyor and automatically aligned,
flattened, and imaged regardless of variable sizes and thicknesses. This simplifies the processing of nearly
any business document, including providing one-touch payment processing of transactions featuring the
mix of checks, remittances, and correspondence. In a single step, the DS1225 can scan, capture, read
check MICR code, print an audit trail, and sort checks from other documents.
“By certifying the OPEX scanner with AnyDoc CAPTUREit, we’ve successfully integrated two champion
technologies to provide a seamless solution,” commented Samuel Schrage, president of AnyDoc Software.
“Now a significant portion of manual processes, including document preparation and manual data entry, can
be eliminated. This brings the automated workflow closer to the point of document receipt, driving down
processing costs.”
The DS1225 is the first OPEX scanner to incorporate TWAIN drivers. Completely integrated with AnyDoc
CAPTUREit, all features inherent in the TWAIN interface are supported for maximum value and productivity.
DS1225 features such as magnetic MICR, inline recognition, and document sorting are built into CAPTUREit’s
user interface so that no scripting is required, ensuring ease-of-use and a low cost of ownership. This
complements AnyDoc’s earlier integration with the OPEX AS3690i™ high-volume production mail scanner
and OPEX CertainScan™ capture software.
In addition to a user-friendly design, with Virtual Multi-Stream™, bi-tonal images can be created from scanned
color or grayscale documents. This allows an unaltered color document image to be archived in a back-end
repository in support of compliance requirements, and also creates a black-and-white document image which
is optimized for use within OCR for AnyDoc® to maximize data capture speed and recognition accuracy.
The integration also enhances performance by seamlessly transferring the metadata captured by the
DS1225—such as the output bin, imprinter string data, and the check MICR code—to OCR for AnyDoc.
Transferred data can be utilized to validate data captured independently by the recognition engines within
OCR for AnyDoc. In this way, the document and transaction data captured at scan time provides
increased visibility for each document in the workflow, maximizing accuracy and productivity without any
manual intervention.
OPEX’s certified scanner integration is available in AnyDoc CAPTUREit 5.0.2.
OPEX and AnyDoc Combine Technology to Provide Fully Integrated
Solution for Accounting
AnyDoc Software, Inc., an award-winning developer of automated document, data capture, and classification
solutions, announced the launch of a fully integrated solution for the accounting market in conjunction with
OPEX Corporation. OPEX, based in Moorestown, NJ, provides a comprehensive range of high-speed
mailroom automation and document capture equipment. The two industry leaders have combined their
technical expertise to automate document preparation and eliminate other manual processes including
manual data entry, while addressing the specific needs of the accounting marketplace.
Comprised of an OPEX scanner and AnyDoc Software’s data capture and classification software, the
unified solution is designed to replace the hidden costs of manual document preparation and document
processing typically found in the accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) departments. Now
a significant portion of manual processes, including document preparation, can be eliminated, bringing the
automated workflow closer to the point of document receipt. Along with the ability to automate document
sorting and data entry, companies can slash their invoice, remittance, and check processing costs by up
to 50 percent or more, and at the same time boost productivity without adding staff. In most cases, ROI
can be achieved in months, not years.
"In response to the current economic climate, companies are looking for ways to cut overhead costs without
sacrificing productivity," said Mark Smith, Director of Product Planning for OPEX Corporation. "By working
with AnyDoc Software, we’re able to offer customers a single solution containing best of breed scanning and
data capture capabilities to alleviate one of the most painful areas of doing business—the manual document
preparation and data entry found in the accounting department."
Incoming mail, including invoices, remittances, and checks, can be automatically opened by OPEX equipment
without any presorting required. A single operator can then simply drop the contents of the opened mail onto
the drop scan conveyor for immediate imaging. Unlike many other systems, the OPEX scanners are designed
to accommodate the natural condition of the incoming mail—for example, documents that arrive crumpled,
have staples in them, or come in a variety of sizes.
The OPEX scanner then creates images, captures data, sorts the documents, and outputs the data and
images. This eliminates the need to manually sort documents into different piles, move the piles to different
work stations (locations), add separator sheets, and then basically build a batch of documents to process
manually via key from paper. In addition, transaction, system and document data is captured during the
scan process for use by the AnyDoc software solution, including the document set, batch number, operator
ID, bar code(s), check MICR code, and other metadata.
Working in tandem with the OPEX scanner, AnyDoc Software’s solutions for accounts payable and
accounts receivable—AnyDoc®INVOICE™ and AnyDoc®REMIT™ with enhanced Check 21 capabilities,
respectively—then imports and utilizes all of the data captured during the OPEX processing cycle. Within
AnyDocINVOICE and AnyDocREMIT, the invoice, remittance, and check images are optimized for data
capture, creating the cleanest image possible for accurate data recognition. Then, using AnyDoc Software’s
unique AnyApp™ technology, data is automatically captured from the images without the need for templates
or manual software “training”, including line item details for both AP and AR applications. By eliminating
tedious manual data entry, accurate data is available much faster in a company’s existing ERP or
accounting system, and at a lower cost than manual processing.
In addition, the captured data is automatically balanced and validated according to existing business rules.
For example, a check amount can be automatically balanced to the total amount of the detail lines on a
remittance statement, or an invoice amount can be matched to a purchase order amount. Check images
can also be virtually endorsed and deposited electronically, eliminating time-consuming trips to the bank.
Jeffrey Welan, vice president of the Application Solutions Group for AnyDoc Software commented, “We
are continually impressed with the functionality and productivity enhancements OPEX provides to end-users.
By pairing our technology with OPEX’s leading systems, we are able to offer customers a complete, robust
solution, beginning in the mailroom.”
AnyDoc Software Unveils the Latest Release of AnyDoc
CAPTUREit™ 5.0
AnyDoc Software, Inc., an industry-leading developer of automated document, data capture, and
classification solutions, announced today it has released the latest version of AnyDoc®CAPTUREit™ 5.0 to
enhance local and remote document capture capabilities.
AnyDoc CAPTUREit allows documents to be scanned on a local area network or from remote locations
and sent via the Internet for processing at a central location—reducing delays in document processing
cycles and eliminating postage and handling costs. CAPTUREit can be completely tailored to maximize
operator productivity and business efficiency. CAPTUREit also seamlessly integrates into the AnyDoc
Software suite of products for automating data capture.
The latest CAPTUREit features an intuitive, redesigned user interface that can be customized by users with
a personal layout tailored to specific production needs. The new interface requires minimal training to learn
and maintain, eliminating expensive training and programming costs, resulting in a lower cost of ownership.
Additionally, CAPTUREit 5.0 enhancements include security options which enable users to mirror information
from their Windows Active Directory users and groups for quick and easy setup. Users can also be
automatically logged-out after a station becomes idle for a specified period of time, preventing
unauthorized use.
CAPTUREit now features Profile Distribution, a means to centrally administer changes to a profile and distribute
this information throughout an organization. A profile contains the configurations for processing a particular
document type such as invoices. With profile distribution, a profile can be adjusted and the new version
automatically updated to all remote capture stations, without additional operator intervention.
CAPTUREit’s new communication is another important tool for remote capture users, adding increased visibility
into documents being processed in OCR for AnyDoc® as well as when data is moved into the back-end
system. OCR for AnyDoc eliminates time-consuming and costly manual data entry by automating the capture
of data from nearly any business document.
After documents are transferred to OCR for AnyDoc from CAPTUREit, the operator is notified when processing
begins, is completed, or is deleted. AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™ then moves data into a wide range of back-end
systems and notifies the CAPTUREit operator when complete. If no data extraction is required by OCR for
AnyDoc, CAPTUREit can initiate an EXCHANGEit job directly, allowing documents to be scanned and
immediately transferred into a back-end repository.
“This enhanced communication is one more way we are meeting customers’ requests and continuing to
improve business processes. Easy-to-customize enhancements such as profile distribution also provide a
lower cost of ownership,” said Ken Kriz, manager of strategic alliances for AnyDoc. “Today’s businesses
have an even greater demand to generate an ROI, and the best way to do this is by optimizing every
step of a company’s process.”
CAPTUREit’s Quality Assure (QA) phase ensures clean images, increasing data recognition and readability.
The new distributed QA feature allows workers other than scan operators to perform QA on documents,
increasing the speed with which images and information are made available to other applications, allowing
quicker business decisions. An operator can display both sides of a scanned image. Enhanced
multi-stream support allows a user to view both a color and a black and white image simultaneously. One
or both of these images can be routed to its final destination at the profile level, allowing different
document types to be routed to their appropriate directories.
In addition to patch pages, barcodes can be used as separators to mark the beginning of a batch of
documents or a document set. And, at the output stage, new features have also been added to allow for
creation of searchable PDFs, PDF/A files, and accessible, or tagged PDFs. These new PDF options
allow files to be searched and easily retrieved from any back-end system, without delays in business
workflow.
And, AnyDoc®MANAGEit™, which allows real-time monitoring of batch level status, station activity, pending
work, and more for the AnyDoc suite of products and solutions, now completes the processing picture,
allowing CAPTUREit users to automatically distribute updated versions of CAPTUREit software to each
station.

for scanning and imaging as well as strategic consulting services. As an AnyDoc Software VAR, IDT
plans to leverage the combination of their in-depth knowledge of departmental business processes with
AnyDoc Software’s advanced technologies and solutions to streamline accounting and other
organizational processes for their clients.
“What attracted us to partner with AnyDoc was their rich history of successful implementations, especially
in the accounts payable market,” said Paul Winiecki, national sales manager of IDT. He continued,
“AnyDoc’s advanced document processing and data capture functionally will dovetail nicely with our
own in-house procure-to-pay expertise.”
By offering their customers AnyDoc Software solutions, such as the award-winning AnyDoc®INVOICE™, IDT

AnyDocINVOICE automatically captures data from incoming vendor invoices, including line item details,
without the need for templates or manual “training”. By eliminating manual processes, including manual
data entry, companies have been able to slash their per invoice processing costs by up to 50 percent,
and at the same time boost productivity without adding staff. In most cases ROI can be achieved in less
than 12 months.
“IDT is well-respected in the ECM industry,” said David Talarico, vice president of channel sales for AnyDoc
Software. “Over the past 15 years they have established themselves not only in the accounting vertical but
also in manufacturing, order fulfillment, and more. We are pleased to have the opportunity to combine our
technical software expertise with their business process knowledge,” Talarico added.
AnyDoc Software Wins ACE Award for Banking & Finance
AnyDoc Software, Inc., an industry-leading developer of automated document, data capture, and
classification solutions, has been named the 2009 ACE Award winner in the Banking & Finance enterprise
content management (ECM) software category, presented by ECM Connection, at the 2009 AIIM Exposition
& Conference in Philadelphia, PA on April 1.
The ECM Connection ACE Awards recognize vendors who demonstrate excellence across the board for
Appeal, Content, and Education in promoting the education and adoption of ECM technologies beyond
their overall horizontal offerings. ACE Award nominees are judged on their feature-rich product line,
information-rich marketing collateral, and outstanding educational outreach programs. Winners were
selected through an online vote via the ECM Connection website.
“With AnyDoc’s complete solution for accounting, which includes AnyDoc®INVOICE™ and AnyDoc®REMIT™
with enhanced Check 21 capabilities, we have developed a solution capable of streamlining the traditionally
paper-intensive accounts payable and accounts receivable departments,” said Sam Schrage, president of
AnyDoc Software. “This allows end-users to cut labor expenses and increase productivity without adding
additional staff, all of which drops directly to the bottom line, critical in today’s economy.”
AnyDocINVOICE and AnyDocREMIT with enhanced Check 21 capabilities automate the sorting, routing,
and data capture of invoices, remittances, and checks. By eliminating manual data entry and other manual
processes, this complete solution for accounting allows businesses to streamline operations and reduce
expenses. And in most cases, companies can achieve a positive ROI within the first year of implementation.
Stacks of paper documents can be scanned, automatically identified, and routed without any presorting
required. Processing invoices and remittances at both the summary and the detail level requires a robust
processing engine, the kind found in AnyDoc software. AnyDoc’s solutions allow end-users to maximize
automation, without sacrificing accuracy, and minimize data entry—eliminating the need for either AP staff or
cost center personnel to manually enter the details.
In addition, captured data can be automatically balanced and validated according to existing business rules.
For example, check amounts can be automatically balanced to a remittance statement, or an invoice can be
matched to a purchase order. Check images can also be virtually endorsed and deposited electronically,
eliminating time-consuming trips to the bank.
This designates the fifth consecutive year AnyDoc has received honors for the ACE Awards. In 2008,
AnyDoc was recognized as a finalist for both Government and Healthcare, ultimately taking home the
award in the Healthcare category.

AnyDoc EXCHANGEit™ 5.1.2 Further Enhances Ease of Data T
ransfer between Applications
Tampa, FL — February 17, 2009 — AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture,
and classification solutions, announced the release of version 5.1.2 of its AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™ software.
Acting as a bridge between incompatible data formats, AnyDoc EXCHANGEit incorporates a simple
drag-and-drop data mapping interface that eliminates the need for costly programming or error-prone
manual data transfer.
The wide functionality of AnyDoc EXCHANGEit makes it the ideal tool for moving captured data and
document images to nearly any accounting, ERP, ECM or other back-end system. Enhancements in the
latest release involve security upgrades which include active directory group level permissions, data
encryption with port level communication, and new options for data transfers—making implementation
even easier.
And, when an IBML scanner is used to feed document images into OCR for AnyDoc® for data capture, the
software now contains the ability to send notifications back to an IBML production database, updating the
batch status code following a successful data transfer from AnyDoc EXCHANGEit into a back-end
application. Now the originator of the batch can be made aware that the batch has successfully
completed the transfer.
“This benefits our customers with the ability to deploy an efficient end-to-end document processing solution with
even more flexibility. End-users want a seamless, secure flow of data, coupled with up-to-date notifications as
process steps are completed—and these enhancements support that goal,” said Ken Kriz, strategic product
manager for AnyDoc Software.
AnyDoc EXCHANGEit 5.1.2 also includes SAP® Certified Integration, enabling flexible data exchange
between AnyDoc software and SAP, which quickly allows data captured from document images to be
available in SAP.
AnyDoc Software and IBML Tighten ImageTrac Scanner Integration
with OCR for AnyDoc
Tampa, FL – November 17, 2008 – AnyDoc Software, a leading provider of automated document, data capture
and classification solutions, announced its new comprehensive integration with scanning leader Imaging
Business Machines, LLC (IBML). The enhanced ImageTrac® scanner integration into the award-winning
OCR for AnyDoc® provides automated data extraction and document classification to address the needs
of high-volume processing customers who need to minimize paper handling close to its source and create
images and data to feed a wide range of business processes downstream.
“The tight integration between two best-of-breed products allows clients to manage their capture processes
with more ease, control and accuracy,” said Robert Appelbaum, vice president of worldwide business and
solution development at IBML. “AnyDoc’s comprehensive approach provides customers with a seamless
solution for capture applications.”
“This intensified cooperation between AnyDoc and IBML brings a complete solution to the document
management market place that is easy-to-use yet amazingly robust,” said Samuel Schrage, president of AnyDoc
Software. “With the combined technologies and advancements in classification, we see this as an excellent
opportunity to expand into new market niches, such as the digital mailroom.”
IBML’s ImageTrac scanners identify documents, create document sets and perform light data extraction
during their high-speed scanning process. OCR for AnyDoc then leverages this first level of document
identification to speed processing downstream. For example, in an accounts receivable process, ImageTrac
can identify an envelope, a remittance, and a check and associate them as a single document set for further
processing and archiving. Additionally, the MICR code could be read from the check, and all the data is fed
to OCR for AnyDoc.
OCR for AnyDoc then automatically sends the check image through data extraction but does not need to
capture the MICR data a second time, thereby saving time. Instead, the CAR/LAR is captured and the
check’s MICR is parsed to provide the index data to look-up additional info from existing databases, such
as account name, etc. Other documents such as remittances or envelopes are automatically sent through
their appropriate data extraction phases.
The combined solution also creates additional business offerings by merging the output values from OCR for
AnyDoc and ImageTrac into a single data file. Detailed IBML data retrieved during the scanning process, such
as document ID, scan operator name, scan date, barcode values or imprinter strings are passed to OCR for
AnyDoc and output in the same data record alongside values extracted during the OCR for AnyDoc process.
This reduces the need for another administrative process to combine two separate output files.
And, to keep track of work in a high-volume environment, end-to-end batch status reporting is available in
IBML’s SoftTrac application to monitor the progress of document batches. SoftTrac oversees a batch’s
progress within IBML from image creation to output and even monitors OCR for AnyDoc processed statuses
as the batch is imported, suspended, deleted, output from OCR for AnyDoc, and uploaded into a supported
back-end system via AnyDoc®EXCHANGEit™.
The enhanced integration is entirely GUI-based, with no scripting or programming and is based on an
easy-to-use point-and-click mapping of data values from IBML to OCR for AnyDoc.
AnyDoc Software Enhances Remittance and Check Processing with
Mitek Systems’ Check Engine
TAMPA, FL and SAN DIEGO, CA – October 3, 2008 – AnyDoc Software, an award-winning developer of
document and data capture technology, announced today it has signed an OEM (original equipment
manufacturer) agreement with Mitek Systems Inc. (OTCBB: MITK), an innovator of image analytics and
pattern recognition software for building check capture solutions. The agreement adds Mitek’s specialized
ImageNet™ Payments check engine platform to AnyDoc’s Infiniworx® solution for automated remittance,
check, and Check 21 processing.
AnyDoc’s use of the Mitek ImageNet Payment platform enables the unique data elements of a check image
to be automatically captured, eliminating the need for operators to hand-key the check data. It is able to read
and accurately interpret the special MICR symbols and font used to designate bank account number, check
number and routing number. In addition, the Mitek ImageNet Payment platform recognizes numeric and written
values – commonly known as CAR/LAR (Courtesy Amount Recognition/Legal Amount Recognition) – on a
check for validation and increased data accuracy. The data captured by the Mitek ImageNet Payment
platform can then to be used to incorporate automatic database lookups and the auto-population of
additional customer information, without human intervention.
Users of Infiniworx now have the flexibility to integrate automated check processing into a document and
data capture processing workflow, matching their company’s existing business processes. Check and
remittance documents will no longer require an individual to manually separate the check from the remittance.
Once scanned, a check image (front and back) is automatically cropped from the remittance statement. “This
feature alone has the potential to eliminate the labor it now takes to burst checks from the remittance pages,
especially when you have tens of thousands of checks to deposit quickly,” said Charles W. Jackson, AnyDoc
Software founder and CEO.
The check is then subsequently processed to capture the account number, check number, check amount
and MICR, and the remittance is processed for the details utilizing AnyDoc®REMIT™, allowing the remittance
statement detail to be more accurately captured and overall processing speed increased. Checks can be
virtually endorsed and electronically deposited remotely according to Check 21 specifications.
Jackson continued, “The Mitek ImageNet Payment platform rounds out our complete document processing
solution for accounting. Users will benefit by eliminating the need to hand-key check data and most of the
time-consuming manual verification process that was required before an accurate deposit could be made.
Now check data can be captured automatically and deposits made without leaving one’s desk.”
"We are extremely pleased that the ImageNet Payment platform has been selected as an important
component of Infiniworx. AnyDoc is leading industry trends by converging forms processing and payments
solutions into one seamless integrated application,” said James DeBello, Mitek Systems president and CEO.
The Infiniworx solution for automated check and Check 21 processing combined with AnyDocREMIT
provides users a complete accounts receivable solution. AnyDocREMIT automatically captures and
processes summary and detail line item data from remittances without fixed-format templates. With the
check information, the details on the remittance statement can be balanced automatically to the check
amount to ensure accuracy before posting to the accounting system. The combined solution allows
companies to dramatically improve the speed and accuracy of their accounts receivable remittance
and check processing.

An in-depth demonstration of AnyDoc’s newest product in development, Infiniworx™, was conducted to educate
resellers on this new technology. Infiniworx is a dynamic document processing workflow platform that streamlines
how documents and data flow through an organization’s business systems. The next generation in document
and data capture workflow, Infiniworx is designed to be a single engine for various solutions including document
classification, check and coupon processing, and much more. Infiniworx is scheduled to be launched at the
upcoming AIIM Expo in Boston, MA., April 16-19, 2007.
“It is exciting to be able to offer this type of educational program to a group this size,” said Sam Schrage,
president of AnyDoc Software. “Any time we get our resellers together, there is always a terrific exchange of
information. We are particularly excited about the enthusiasm we received towards Infiniworx.”
Sponsors of the event included Canon USA, Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Fujitsu Computer Products of
America, Panasonic USA and Scan Optics.
