Solimar has enhanced the SPDE PDF emulation modules to significantly improve performance. These
modules enable users to convert PDF files to other data stream formats such as PostScript, IPDS, AFPDS,
TIFF and Metacode. The new functionality helps to streamline PDF related production workflows by
providing significantly faster conversion speeds, reduced output file sizes and improved printer processing
performance. The performance enhancements are primarily accomplished by optimizing how fonts and
other PDF resource objects are managed during PDF file processing and output file creation. Using the
enhanced PDF emulation modules, early users of these enhancements have seen file sizes reduced by
40% and throughput increase by 60% for select applications.

"Solimar is committed to providing the best print management and conversion products to help our
customers achieve their production goals," said Mary Ann Rowan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing
for Solimar Systems. "We realize that our customers' conversion modules are a critical part of their
overall production workflow. These enhancements will help our SPDE customers to be more productive
and successful."

Solimar Expands SOLsearcher™ Enterprise Functionality

Web Presentment System Adds New Delivery and Security Capabilities

Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and secure electronic document
delivery solutions, has announced enhanced functionality for its SOLsearcher™ Enterprise (SSE) product.
SSE is a powerful web presentment solution that enables organizations to effectively index, store, search,
retrieve, and view large collections of transactional documents. Designed to complement or replace existing
print processes, SSE allows users to securely access critical business documents and reports via the web.

"SSE provides organizations with an extremely flexible solution for business-to-business (B2B),
business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-employee (B2E) electronic delivery and secure archiving of
internal reports and customer facing documents," said Mary Ann Rowan, Vice President, and Sales &
Marketing. "While SSE is capable of archiving and delivering any file format, most of our clients leverage
the benefits and capabilities of PDF files. Our clients understand the advantages of PDF workflows and
Solimar's unique compression capabilities. Rather than store large original uncompressed native print files,
SSE users are able to store entire print runs as a single efficient compressed PDF file resulting in significant
electronic storage savings."

Solimar has expanded e-delivery options in SSE by adding support for PDF email attachments in addition to
existing secure links to documents. Though secure links reduce overall network bandwidth requirements,
improve performance and allow for greater control and tracking, some international markets prefer email
attachments in lieu of an embedded internet hyperlink.

The SSE solution has expanded security options with new password settings and file encryption options.
Passwords can be tied to group or individual identities.

Solimar is committed to delivering powerful, ecoActive™ solutions for its customers as demonstrated by SSE
and its ability to secure, distribute and manage high value documents electronically via the web in an
environmentally-friendly manner.

SAN DIEGO, CA — May 9, 2008 — Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and
secure document delivery solutions, has today announced plans to exhibit a new range of leading-edge
technologies for the postal mailing industry market. Solimar will be featuring its latest solutions to help organizations

Solimar will showcase its Rubika™ product suite that is designed to solve many problems associated with high
volume transactional print and online viewing environments. Rubika contains various modules which are
capable of modifying and re-engineering data streams to automate manual processes, to enable postal savings,
to add value to documents, and to leverage finishing equipment. The most recent release of Rubika supports
the new Intelligent Mail® Barcode (IMB) initiative from the USPS.

“Compared to other barcode application methods, Rubika enables the new IMB mandate quickly, with less
manpower, and at a lower cost," states Mary Ann Rowan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Solimar

SAN DIEGO, CA — February 27, 2008 — Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing
and secure document delivery solutions, today announced new functionality of Rubika™ Version 2.02, a modular

workflow streamlining is taken to the next level by automating multiple Rubika steps dynamically. Our clients are
thrilled to see manual processes go away,” states Rowan.

The Solimar product line allows thousands of organizations around the world to easily expand and control their
