Labelexpo Europe 2025 debuts in Barcelona at the Fira Gran Via from September 16 to 19, 2025. The biennial trade show is part of the Labelexpo Global Series and its largest event.

Since its inaugural event in 1980, Labelexpo serves as a leading global industry platform for label and package printing professionals. The show brings together manufacturers and suppliers of the most advanced collection of technology with printers, brand owners, and designers under one roof.

This year, the show includes a strategic pivot by event organizers to add folding carton and flexible packaging print and converting to the mix.

On the Floor
AB Graphic International (ABG), booth 3E41, showcases its customer-driven innovations. With a focus on automation, efficiency, and delivering complete end-to-end solutions, ABG promises an engaging experience across its own stand and in collaboration with HP, who is exhibiting on stands 5E25 and 5D21.

ACTEGA, booth 3D41, showcases its latest solutions, partner and customer collaborations, and advanced labelling technologies. Combining quality, functionality, and sustainability, these innovations demonstrate how the company helps brands achieve environmental and performance goals. Visitors will see live demonstrations of ECOLEAF, ACTEGA’s on demand metallization technology, configured with a Gallus One Digital Press. ACTEGA and Gallus’ established partnership recently extended to include ECOLEAF technology.

Amtech, booth 5F25, invites attendees to see the latest Label Traxx enhancements, which are designed to help label converters streamline operations and drive growth, including managing multiple facilities in one solution.

Anytron showcases the ANY-JET II digital press, ANY-CUT I laser die-cutter, and live AIMS workflow automation demonstrations.

BOBST launched the FLEXJET module as a new option available for its DIGITAL MASTER 340 and 510 platforms, expanding application offering and boosting productivity for label converters. Seamlessly integrated into the DIGITAL MASTER series platform, it results in an industry-first Pure Digital Multilayer solution featuring multiple Digital Print Units working inline. This fully integrated workflow enables single-pass production of complex label jobs such as multilayer, glue- and back-side printing. Also on the services front, BOBST introduces a new partnership with Belgian consultancy firm Co-ëfficiënt with the aim to deliver best-in-class process optimization.

CARTES, booth 3D101, shows seven embellishment lines as well as its digital embellishment system with new features. The CARTES digital embellishing technology, Jet D-Screen, combined with the laser die-cutting system builds a perfect blend for digital converting processing.

Domino Printing Sciences, booth 3E91, unveils its latest digital printing innovations, including the new compact Domino N410 LED label press. Find live demonstrations of the N410 LED label press, N730i and N610i digital label presses, as well as K600i and K300 monochrome inkjet printers.

Esko unveiled its latest innovation, the Esko XPS Spark 4835, a new plate exposure unit that delivers the unique combination of unmatched performance with a small footprint. Designed for packaging converters and tradeshops seeking precision, sustainability, and simplicity, the new XPS Spark combines single-side UV LED exposure with an optional integrated UV finishing device (UVA + UVC), all in one compact and optimized package.

GEW, booth 3G61, highlights its air-cooled AeroLED2 UV LED curing system, alongside its highest power, water-cooled LeoLED2 system. GEW launches OxyGuard, the company’s next generation oxygen control system, which is designed to rapidly achieve and maintain the optimal curing atmosphere for low odor, low migration production, siliconisation, and other high-performance curing applications. GEW also launches DoseGuard, which is powered by ICAD technology to deliver inline UV monitoring and automatic UV dose control.

Global Graphics Software announced a major new release of SmartDFE, the intelligent digital front end platform that drives high-speed label and packaging presses. This latest version introduces two powerful tools that will enhance efficiency for label press operators, improve connectivity with Management Information Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning platforms, and help print service providers streamline operations for faster turnaround and greater automation.

Graph-Tech USA, booth 3A54, educates the label, flexible packaging, and folding cartons communities on how efficient and flexible inkjets are. See demonstrations of its digital printing solutions and narrow web systems and discover or learn more about its products designed to help you increase your throughput and uptime and reduce costs.

Heidelberg/Gallus, booth 3E23-3E29, debuts new solutions including Gallus Five: High-performance hybrid press, integrating digital flexibility with industrial-level productivity; Gallus Alpha: Value-focused and compact digital-only press for seamless entry into digital label production; and Gallus Print Academy: New dedicated training initiative, designed to support customers on-site, transitioning from traditional flexographic printing to hybrid and inkjet technologies

Hoenle, booth 3A109, showcases cutting-edge LED-UV curing systems from its proven LED Powerline series, designed not only for label printing, but also for the increasingly important flexible packaging market. Among the highlights is the innovative Curing System LED Powerline Web. Also on display, the unique UV dose measurement system UV Scan MACS and the entire Hoenle UV Technology portfolio for drying and curing inks, coatings, and varnishes, such as LED-UV, IR/Hot Air, and Inert UV solutions.

HP, booths E25 and D21, displays the HP Indigo V12, HP Indigo 6K+, and HP PrintOS and HP Nio.

hubergroup Print Solutions, booth 4D19, presents its latest developments for flexographic printing alongside its established, versatile portfolio—from inks, varnishes, and laminating adhesives to a range of services.

Hybrid Software, booth 5E55, highlights the latest innovations for label printing across its pre-press and production workflow ecosystem, including PACKZ, CLOUDFLOW, iC3D, Capture 3D, along with new products like PACKZ Max and Colorspace.

KURZ, booth 3D73, invites visitors to “rethink what’s possible” by showing a fully integrated ecosystem, from innovative design software like DREAMCOMPOSER, to efficient digital production equipment, to high-impact print embellishment that drives results at the point of sale. Live demonstrations on the DM‑UNILINER 3D and the new MJET D-Series Generation 2 highlight how digital embellishment meets next-level precision and industrial efficiency, translating design visions into measurable commercial impact.

FOCUS Machinery showcased the latest innovations for In-line Hybrid Digital printing & converting or offline finishing technology across its range of servo equipment. It launched a new Hybrid Digital Print Engine featuring 1600DPI water based digital print engine, printing and converting in one pass, sustainable CMYK Water based or UV Print Engine options, semi and rotary die cutting, roll to roll or roll to sheet, and hybrid options—Proflex , Eflex and Dflex.

Mark Andy exhibited in booths 4E05, 4G08, and 4g17 and look forward to sharing the latest in pre-press to finishing technology from Mark Andy. On display, Performance Series S9—ideal for mid-web flexible packaging with high‑speed changeovers; DSHD HighSpeed 1,200—industry’s fastest 1,200 dpi hybrid press, marrying quality with efficiency; Pro Series—a cost-effective flexo workhorse designed for short‑run label production; Digital Pro MAX, a toner‑based hybrid platform offering modular flexibility and low operating cost; and Rotoflex VLI—a high-speed inspection and rewinding system, optimized for film, tension‑sensitive substrates, and complex label jobs.

MicroDynamics unveiled their newest innovation, MIRA. MIRA is a secure, cloud-based intelligence platform designed to revolutionize anilox quality control by Making Intelligence Real & Actionable. Using MIRA, printers and suppliers can access, analyze, and share anilox data across multiple sites—anytime, anywhere—via both web and mobile.

Plockmatic unveiled its latest roll-to-roll label cutter live at the show and offered an exclusive first look at our next-generation technology showcase—a bold preview of where roll label cutting is heading.

Pulse reinforces its Making Print Simple message with new products expertly formulated to simplify label and packaging printing. This includes two newly developed overprint varnishes (OPV), approved for use with Ravenwood Packaging’s linerless label printing ecosystem. The new OPVs are available in matt and gloss finishes and are formulated to be in line with the demands of the impending German Ink Ordinance (GIO) update, which becomes mandatory on 1 January 2026.

Ultimate Tech, booth 5923, introduces a tech workflow to enable label and adhesive partners to maximize the opportunities available on the market in a world where short runs, varying SKUs, the rise of ecommerce and the flexibility is supported by digital print. Leveraging dynamic step and repeat with Ultimate Impostrip along with dynamic laser cutting with GM LC350, this makes for a combination allowing to finish many varying label formats on the fly, yet maintaining maximum productivity.

Valloy Incorporated, booth 5A36, introduces advanced automation technology that empowers non-experts to achieve high-quality results with ease. DUOBLADE FX is a versatile, sheet-fed finishing system using multiple tools simultaneously to produce stickers, tags, toppers, boxes, and decorative cards—all without user intervention.
