Mark Andy and UPM Renew Strategic Partnership

03.19.2026

Mark Andy, a leading global supplier of narrow- and mid-web printing and finishing equipment, today announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with UPM Adhesive Materials, a global supplier of self-adhesive paper and film products. The agreement marks the seventh consecutive year the companies have renewed their collaboration in the Americas, reinforcing a shared commitment to helping label and printed packaging converters improve performance and expand application capabilities.

Through the partnership, Mark Andy and UPM Adhesive Materials collaborate on a wide range of label materials engineered for compatibility across Mark Andy’s conventional, hybrid, and digital press platforms. The companies work together to help converters optimize material selection and on-press performance, with an emphasis on print quality and productivity across diverse end-use requirements.

“Mark Andy remains a trusted technology partner for converters across the Americas, and this renewal reflects our ongoing focus on delivering practical innovation to the market,” said David Medlar, Vice President, Product Line Management, Mark Andy. “UPM Adhesive Materials brings strong materials expertise and an extensive portfolio to the table. Together, we help converters make confident decisions about materials and print processes that support both performance expectations and evolving print-buyer requirements.”

UPM Adhesive Materials’ label materials are featured in Mark Andy’s demonstration and technology centers, where they are used to showcase press capabilities and help converters evaluate materials, applications, and production outcomes in real-world conditions.

“We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Mark Andy for a seventh year,” said Kirit Naik, Senior Manager, New Materials & Technologies, UPM Adhesive Materials. “By combining UPM Adhesive Materials’ material innovation with Mark Andy’s printing technologies, we support converters with solutions that perform reliably on press while aligning with sustainability and market demands.”
