Graphics of the Americas (GOA) today announces the next installment of its popular, standing room only, Wrap Cup Americas vehicle wrap competition. “Wrap stars” from all over the world converge on Miami to compete in three days of intense vehicle wrapping mastery. The winner receives a prize package valued at $8500. The total of all prizes for the competition is over $100,000. Registration for those interested in participating in the limited-space event is available at: http://www.goaexpo.com/wrap-cup-americas.html.
Industry veteran and head of the Professional Decal Application Alliance (PDAA), Rob Ivers, has been named head judge of the event. Event sponsors, to date, include: MR Clipart, 3M, Microgeo, Race Ramps, Image1Impact, Rolinx, Steinel, Knifeless, CoCut, and more.
GOA is being held February 18-20, 2016, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida. The competition showcases the skill, creativity and, most importantly, the capabilities of installers and quality of vehicle wrappers. The event is designed to recognize and promote the crème de la crème of the global vehicle wrapping community. GOA visitors can meet vehicle wrapping professionals from North, Central and South America; as well as the Caribbean.
James Martin, GOA President says, “We are honored to host the exciting Wrap Cup Americas event for the second year at GOA. The first Wrap Cup Americas competition, held during GOA 2015 last year, was a huge hit. Those who witnessed the fast-paced artistry came away astounded at what these individuals can do.
“We invite you to see it for yourself this year, where we have no doubt visitors will again be impressed with the skillset and talent that this competition draws.”
