France to Host April 2026 ISO TC 130 Meeting

07.01.2025

France has been confirmed as the host country for the 2026 ISO/TC 130 spring meeting, scheduled for April 2026, in Paris. The announcement was made today by UNIIC, the French graphic industry umbrella organization, and Elie Khoury, Shadow Committee Chair and head of the French Delegation to ISO/TC 130. Khoury is also President of Alwan Color Expertise, based in Lyon.

ISO TC130 is the International Standardization Organization Technical Committee for graphic technology.

“France is proud to welcome the world’s distinguished graphic arts technology experts to Paris,” says Khoury, one of Europe’s most active standards architects and development experts since the 90s. “This spring has signaled renewed momentum in our industry. Despite some challenges in key markets, growth continues; especially in packaging, digital printing, and automation. The April 2026 meeting will be an important opportunity to advance the global standards that underpin our industry’s future.”

The announcement follows last month’s ISO/TC 130 meeting sponsored by ANSI and hosted by X-Rite in Grand Rapids, Michigan; where close to 50 international experts came together to discuss and progress critical industry standards. Key takeaways are highlighted below. A complete accounting of the meeting is available directly from the ISO/TC 130 working group, at https://committee.iso.org/home/tc130.
