Mactac Expands METRO Digital Product Line With New Solutions for Kodak NEXPRESS and Xerox iGen Users

8.17.17

Mactac Distributor Products expands its customer-trusted METRO Digital pressure-sensitive sheets product line with new solutions for users of Kodak NEXPRESS and Xerox iGen digital presses.

The new METRO Digital for Kodak NEXPRESS and Xerox iGen sheet stocks are 14-by-20” in size, and are designed specifically for these toner fusion digital presses.

Equipped with all the characteristics NEXPRESS and iGen customers look for in pressure-sensitive printing materials, the new products offer varying facestocks; an adhesive that is specially formulated to eliminate sheet-edge adhesive bleed; and, a layflat liner with outstanding internal strength, toughness, and tear-resistance for kiss-cutting.

“By adding the new stocks to Mactac’s METRO Digital product offering, we can better support our customers who print pressure-sensitive materials on the Kodak NEXPRESS and Xerox iGen digital presses,” said Nate Gill, product manager, Mactac Distributor Products.

The line expansion includes addition of the following products:
• MTP1420HPS-5: high-gloss litho
• MTP1420SPS-5: semi-gloss litho
• MTP1420MPS-5: matte litho
• MTP1420UPS-5: uncoated litho

With a general-purpose permanent acrylic adhesive, the new METRO Digital products bond well to a variety of surfaces. They are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as point-of-purchase displays, package/product identification, promotional labeling, direct marketing, magazine inserts, small volume decals, and other quick-turnaround print jobs.
METRO Digital products feature a 2-year shelf life.
