TAGA Opens Call for Papers

09.16.2025

The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) has opened its call for TAGA Research Frontiers or TAGA Technology in Action papers. Selected authors will present their papers at the TAGA NextGen conference from March 16-19, 2026, in Minneapolis.

Recognized as the premier venue for publishing and presenting scientific and technical advancements in the graphic communications industry, the TAGA annual proceedings have served as a trusted resource for researchers, innovators, and industry leaders worldwide for over seventy-five years.

Authors must submit research paper abstracts (500 – 1,500 words) by October 24, 2025, and should clearly indicate the paper category. Accepted authors will present their papers at the 2026 TAGA NextGen conference. Final papers designated for publication in the 2026 TAGA Proceedings are due April 24, 2026.

Authors can submit abstracts online at https://taga.org/call-for-papers and can expect notification of acceptance in November 2025.

TAGA Research Frontiers papers focus on emerging science, technology, and applications in graphic workflows and printing processes. Technology in Action papers cover current industry challenges, best practices, and broad technology perspectives. TAGA encourages submissions on topics including color, sustainability, packaging, printed electronics, automation, and best practices, as well as additional areas of interest such as substrates, ink, curing, displays, process control, workflow, data management, lean manufacturing, 3D printing and software innovations. TAGA NextGen offers a unique opportunity for authors to highlight their work to a global audience and contribute to the advancement of graphic arts science and technology.
